Produced from our oldest and highest vineyard the Selva is one of the first single vineyard Lugana ever produced.
This vineyard has three important elements: altitute, between 110 and 125 mslm, hill incline and stones that allow the clay in the soil to be more permeable.
It is our signature Lugana and the combination of low yields and the selection of grapes, at harvest time, combine to produce a white wine of superior finesse and complexity highlighting the tipicity of the local wines or the character of the grape variety.
It is bottled at the beginning of the spring and left in the cellar to mature and reach the balance that makes this wine fresh and sapid, the perfect expression of the terroir.
It can mature for years, surprising with evoluted perfumes.
The first vintage produced dates back in 1983.
